About the MEET Platform
This platform brings together a collection of resources for both practitioners and young people. The collection was prepared by the MEET project partners.
The creation process consisted of the following steps:
First, all partners collected a total of 100 existing tools and learning materials. Partners then specified each tool and learning material according to its objective, design, intended target audience, appropriate setting for implementation, and adaptability into different languages, settings, and target groups.
Second, based on this review, each partner country selected specific tools and learning materials to be piloted with a total of 350 young people. The selected tools and materials were then applied in a range of contexts, such as schools, community settings, and youth clubs. Implementation was always facilitated or monitored by an appropriate professional, such as a youth worker, an organisation working directly with young people, a psychologist or a project partner. Following implementation, the partnership conducted a thorough assessment with both professionals and young people.
Third, based on this assessment, as well as facilitators’ experiences, the tools and learning materials were adapted to best support all range of project´s target groups, including vulnerable young people. This included adapting the language to fit different age groups, adding recommendations for professionals on when and how to best use the tool, and potential risk mitigation strategies.
The result constitutes a collection of 15 tools for practitioners and 15 learning materials adapted by MEET consortium in a concise matter in 11 European languages and 3 Roma language versions.
